Breakfast potatoes

Another Friday another amazing recipe! I love potatoes and I love breakfast so I made these delicious breakfast potatoes with only a few ingredients I had around.

What you will need

You will need a non stick pot with a lid, potatoes as many as you may need about 1 potato equals 1 serving. Seasoning: my favorite for this is a blend of: paprika, salt, pepper, Basil, onion powder, garlic powder, and coriander. 1 tablespoon of butter per potato. Diced onion and bell peppers.

Steps

First get your potato then peel and dice them, wash then add them to a non stick pot with a lid. Then place the pot on the stove and set the temperature to high. Add 1 tablespoon of butter per each potato used. Then add your seasoning of salt, pepper, paprika, coriander, basil, onion and, garlic powder. Add about 1 teaspoon of the seasoning mixture per potato. Cover and let it do it’s thing for about 5-8 minutes stirring occasionally , once the potatoes are soft enough to your liking you will then lower to medium heat and add your cut up onions and peppers and continue to cook for 2-3 minutes or until vegetables are soft.

Finished potatoes!

Remove from heat and serve with anything you want. I made a homemade gravy and added cooked sausage then cheese put that on top of my potatoes and added an egg on top. Pairs well with so much! Enjoy and follow for more recipes!

I am a wife and mother of 3 daughters and 1 son who just loves to cook. I first loved to cook because my mom couldn’t to tell the truth so. I went to culinary school for 3 years to learn more techniques and different ways to cook! Worked at longhorn steakhouse for 4 years. Combine that with years and years of just cooking and you have my recipes. I hope you come, stay and enjoy some recipes and maybe share some of yours along the way! Glad you’re here!
